MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has seen major international advancements into Latin pop mainstream. In the year 2017 the hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. In Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and then released ADN as his first full-length album. This album peaked at eight in the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca was it was the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 led him to join Ozuna. He released Dopamina, his chart-topping sophomore album in the year following. In 2021, he appeared on a duet TINI on her most streamed single Maldita Foto. The smash hit La Bachata from 2000 was published in 2023. Turizo comes from a musical background, both his mother and elder brother are musicians. He has said in interviews that music is compulsory. While a boy, he studied the guitar and saxophone.
