Angelica Panganiban is a Filipino-American actress, model and TV host as well as a comedian. Panganiban (also called The New Queen of Drama) is considered by various media outlets to be one of the Philippines most experienced, versatile and knowledgeable actors. The singer performed Stronger with Kelly Clarkson, and Kechi Okwuchi at the end of the competition. She was the youngest ever runner-up and finished second in the competition. Angelica Hale, then 4 years old, was taken seriously ill in 2012 as a result of an infection caused by strep bacteria. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston, where she was treated for her life-saving illness using ECMO-based life support. She suffered from numerous organ problems, including the failure of her kidneys. She was forced to adapt her life around hemodialysis, as well as dialysate for the peritoneal area. After an hospitalization of 80 days, Angelica was almost dead but was on the road to recuperation. Angelica was on dialysis for a year-and-ahalf until she finally was able for the biggest operation of her existence, a kidney transplant. The kidney that would be donated to her came from her mom. Angelica Hale and her mother underwent the transplant of a kidney on the premises of Emory University Hospital in Atlanta and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston on September 13 2013. Angelica Hale pursued her dream of becoming a celebrity for years after.
